Greensboro Tire & Auto is a family-owned automotive service center and tire dealer serving communities and businesses across Guilford County since 1980. We provide best in class car care with expertise in tire service, mechanical repair, and preventive maintenance. We love our town, our trade, and our customers. Our Story

Greensboro Tire & Auto was founded by Eugene Bridges (“Mr. B”) in 1980. Mr. B was a serial entrepreneur at its finest, spending his younger years venturing into several related industries including tool sales and Western Auto franchising before opening his first tire store on Bessemer Avenue. Eugene’s work ethic and commitment to honest service set the foundation for Greensboro Tire to become our town’s most trusted automotive service center and tire store.

With the help of his sons (Tim & Ronnie) and daughter (Pam), Greensboro Tire grew across Greensboro and High Point. The second generation led the family business through the 2000s with a steadfast commitment to Eugene’s good ole’ fashioned hard work and honest service.

We continue to operate our single location on West Market Street today, led by third generation shop owner, grandson, and nephew (Brett). It would be our pleasure to serve you today with the same hard work, integrity, and expertise that Mr. B offered 40+ years ago!
